Can I downgrade my version of Quicken?
Yes, with the exception of converting to Starter Edition.
If you have a more complex version of Quicken, like Home and Business or Rental Property Manager, you can convert your file to a less complex version like Premier or Deluxe. However, you won’t have access to modify the complex parts of your file after the conversion (Rental Properties, for example).
I have a much older version of Quicken—will my file convert to Quicken?
If you’re converting from Quicken 2004 or later, your file will convert automatically when you open Quicken. If your previous Quicken version is 2003 or older, you will need to open a new Quicken file
I have Quicken for Mac—can I convert my file to Quicken Windows?
Yes. You can convert Quicken for Mac and Quicken Essentials for Mac files to Quicken Windows.

My Quicken file is on a different computer—how do I move it and open it in Quicken?
Moving your Quicken file is the same process as moving any other file between computers. You can save your Quicken backup file to a removable drive (like a USB thumb drive) and then copy the file from the USB drive to your new computer. When you open Quicken, you’ll be prompted to convert your backup to Quicken.
I have questions before I install Quicken—where can I get help?
